Case Study - Komotodo Sushi Burrito

Overview:

Komotodo Sushi Burrito was a new restaurant concept that opened in downtown Denver in the fall of 2015. They hired Chumba Media in December 2015 to promote their store opening and the overall brand within the downtown Denver market.

 

Goal:

Promote the opening of the new restaurant and increase brand recognition and awareness within proximity to their store.

 

Campaign:

Chumba Media ran several consecutive walking billboards along the 16th Street Mall from Market st. to Arapahoe st. during the lunch-rush on select days over the course of several months. The billboard was supplemented with printed "$2 off "coupons to distribute to interested consumers.

Results:

  • Avg. 25 coupons were redeemed per hour.

  • 20%-30% response rate.

  • Dozens of comments and questions from consumers regarding basic business information such as their location, menu price range, etc.

  • Increased brand presence along 16th Street Mall.
